Member Bio
I am a freelance editor with a prairie Métis perspective (born in southern Manitoba and raised in Alberta), currently living on the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh people (Vancouver). I spent 9 years working with Metis Settlements on a community project that empowered and trained youth to lead a life skills program for children. I am passionate about amplifying Indigenous voices and can work across all types of manuscripts. I have edited academic articles with an Indigenous focus in the areas of medicine, community wellbeing, and community engagement. I have also co-authored 13 peer-reviewed academic publications in the areas of Indigenous community engagement and applied social science research.
