Odette is an award winning journalist with over 250 bylines since 2020, including APTN National News, Ricochet, The Tyee, Windspeaker and more.
She's won 10 awards in the past 3 years, along with honourable mentions including Amnesty International Canadian Media for excellence in human rights reporting.
Areas of special interest: environmental justice, arts, social justice.
Amplifying voices has led to her strengthening her own: with creative non fiction published in The Quarterly Review and The Malahat Review. She's recently signed a book deal with Scribner Canada for a novel, set to publish in 2027.
