About the Webinar Series

IEA webinars are informative presentations and Q&A sessions by Indigenous publishing experts and allies and (with one exception in October 2024) are open to everyone.

Following each webinar, Indigenous attendees will be invited to stay for one of the IEA's signature informal roundtable discussions: the Kitchen Table Talks. These smaller discussion groups are a safe space where Indigenous creatives can gather to expand on the webinar content and discuss how it applies to their work. Bring your questions for the webinar presenters, thoughts on what you learned, and a cup of tea, and be prepared for helpful conversation and maybe even some laughter.

How to Register

Registration for each workshop will be announced approximately six weeks in advance on this webpage and social media, and members will receive the announcement in our newsletter. Registration for IEA members and partners is free; the fee for other participants is $25 CAD. If you aren't able to attend the live session, a recording will be available for registrants after each webinar.
