Napatsi Folger is an Inuk writer, artist, comic-maker, and editor from Iqaluit, Nunavut. She has been creating as long as she can remember, and writing and editing since she was a teenager. Her areas of focus are comic-making, short fiction, non-fiction and children's literature. Folger's art and writing have been published in peer-reviewed journals, magazines, websites, and books since 2005, and she has been working professionally as an editor at the Inuit Art Foundation since 2019. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, and a BA in History and English from the University of Toronto, Scarborough. Folger now lives in North Vancouver, on the ancestral lands of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation).
