Kaitlin Littlechild
I am a member of Sweetgrass First Nation and the founder of both Kaitlin Littlechild Editing and Juno Communications. I have honed my skills in developmental editing, copy editing, proofreading, authenticity reading, copy writing, and more while working with clients across disciplines, including academic, business, fiction, and nonfiction writing. I am committed to furthering the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in Canada through my work. I hold a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Waterloo and multiple professional certifications, including strategic public relations and project management from the University of Toronto and editing from Simon Fraser University. I have facilitated numerous sessions and workshops for Editors Canada, the IEA, universities, and various organizations.
As the founder of Juno Communications (https://www.junocommunications.ca/), I excel in offering communication strategies tailored for businesses and organizations of all sizes. Drawing inspiration from my Cree heritage and the power of storytelling, my passion is delivering impactful messages.
With a diverse background in project management, policy development, health communication, environmental work, non-profit administration, publishing, and more, I have dedicated my career to promoting Indigenous voices.
