Katherine is a member of Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation, Director of Product Development and Principal with Relish Ideas, and a creative with a passion for reading and writing.
In 2023, Katherine was mentored by Donna Besel as an apprentice in the Sheldon Oberman Mentorship program offered through the Manitoba Writers' Guild. In 2025, Katherine was the Reviewer in Residence for River Street Reads.
Nortend Bookster is Katherine's book review blog, launched with the aim to open critical discourse around mainstream media, as well as highlight lesser known, local, and foreign authors. Feel free to reach out and suggest a book!
